Nats trade for Willingham, Olsen

Not bad, a 200 IP guy, and a guy that can go .270, 25HR. Seems like a no-brainer for the Nationals, as these two still won't be all that expensive short-term even with arbitration, and the Nationals gave up a fair amount of young talent but nothing earth-shattering.

People make take the Nets serious after this off-season. This was a fantastic trade and now your going after a big bat.

I am kind of surprised, but they apparently still are.

Thought they might try and get by without a major free agent after this trade, but all indications say they will make a run at Tex as well.

Even if they can't get him, it would seem they still need a dependable LH bat--perhaps Dunn if they could get rid of some of their other RH hitting outfielders.

Nick Johnson is still locked up at 5.5 million this year, as well.
