Lannan at Nolasco, Game 1.

Some optimism for both the Marlins and the Nationals this year. Marlins still have alot of bats in their lineup despite losing Jacobs and Willingham, and some of their guys have ace potential.

Could be a team that surprises--and people forget they weren't exactly bad last year. H. Ramirez batting third this year; about time.

12-6 loss...not encouraging to start!

Not sure why Acta bats Johnson/Dunn together; I would think it would make sense to have Kearns stagger them, but I guess with Dukes/Willingham ready it doesn't matter so much...

Tavarez...can't see the point. Also this is one division foe where the Nats don't really need all the lefty pitchers versus...
