If you had to say right now, how good do you think this guy is going to be?

Really good--got three solid to spectacular pitches and he can throw 100. Really good.

But with arms and number one picks, taking a big risk if the Nats give him what Boras presumably wants.

Tuck him in the minors till the major league mess is cleaned up,
Pair him with however the Nats draft first overall next year and you will have a nice core to look forward to.

God, I hope he signs. I honestly will lock up fairly good seats for next year with Strasburg on board I think.

But there's just no way I'd give the guy a ridiculous 15 million bonus or anything. Let him go the way of the (Aaron) Crow...sit out a year and get less money the next.

The guy could be the face of a franchise in a new park in one of the richest areas of the country. Not good enough? Fine.

I hope the Nats sign him. I think he made a mistake having Boras as his agent. I think Boras can be good if you are a proven guy trying to get top dollar. However when you haven't thrown a single pitch in the big leagues, it is a risky move.

No word yet, hearing just instructional league and nothing really this year.

Pretty late in the minor league season, but we'll see.

I guess 15 million isn't too bad, but thats absolutely as far as I would have gone...not sure I'd of even done that.

Happy day in DC though, still dominated and eclipsed by the Favre news... :-?
