Good show--basically wouldn't get into which starting pitcher the Nats are really still into. Bill asked him directly about Smoltz, and as you would expect, he said John would probably wait and see if he could land with a contender first.
Told Bill off air one of the high profile free agent starters left won't be coming to DC most likely, because he is a dooschbag, but I can't really say which one.
Didn't tip his hand on anything else groundbreaking--was very high on Bernadina still, which I think the whole orginization is.
