Nats add Bruntlett, Whitesell

Bruntlett is the most intriguing possibility because of his experience, and he has played every position except catcher.
Both he and and Whitesell would be viable alternatives to Morse, and perhaps Bruntlett's addition could allow the Nats to save over a million or so dollars and trade Harris. That is unlikely because Harris is well-liked here and his lefty bat and versatility are appreciated.
Both batted way under the mendoza line last year...
