Or something.

O-tay. Can you imagine him AND SCOTT OLSEN AND SHAWN ESTES at the 3, 4, 5.......!!!!!
God, this is so pointless. Although you would think some of these guys can at least keep a place warm for Strasburg...its just that I'm not sure I need to see Adam Kennedy and Wang for a placeholder season...
In fairness, why not to any of these guys if they're cheap???

Re: Everybody Wangchung tonight!
Now we won't know for another week or so...
Probably the initial report was from Kasten or Rizzo leaking garbage again.
I know I'll be on the edge of my seat to see if we bring Wang in...

Nats reach deal with Wang.
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/nation ... alsjournal
Reports indicate its for two million with the potential to go to three. Well, the guy is 55-26 and still only 30, but on the other hand the guy has been pretty beat up the last couple of years and he dealt with a myriad of injuries--shoulder ones being the most relevent.
It's always worth a shot but I just don't see the need for a ton of vets competing just so the Nats don't have to go with a JD Martin or some of the other younger guys as their four and five.
I just don't see the point of signing mediocre talent just so the Nats young talent can go back to AAA at this point.
Still, if Wang recaptures anywhere close to his 2006 or 2007 form (or even 2008, when he was medioc re), its a bargain.
He fits the John Lannan, Jason Marquis pitching mode as well. Man I hope the defense can play behind these guys better this year--and I'm not sure keeping Guzman and his limited range at short really helps that cause...

This is the problem I have with the Nats, they are not willing to go the extra mile. I'd be willing to spend more to get a quality second basemen like Hudson rather than Kennedy.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.
