Morris was the key to the trade for the Wizards as they needed a pg. Denver has to free up the backup pg slot for Bones and Morris can see the writing on the wall with Murray's return. Morris wants a chance to play, not to be the backup to the backup. And not on a 10 million a year contract.
This trade had to be made.
