Game 24 : Dallas Mavericks (12-11) @ Denver Nuggets (14-9)

Dallas reminds me this season on Denver from last season where one MVP-level player doesn't have enough good support from the rest of the team. The Nuggets are favorites tonight at home vs Mavs, but we lost the last two games and Porter is still out (maybe KCP too), so we are not such bold favorites.

-6 on halftime, but with the better defense we can win this. Nuggets started the game with an 8-0 run and Doncic was scoreless in the opening 10 minutes, and in the rest of the 14 minutes he was on the bench half of the time, so in those 7 minutes, he scored 15 points, because of poor defense on the offensively #1 player in the league.

Jokic with another poor performance this season in the big games. Denver can't even dominate at home against the team who played last night, pathetic. Bones have a poor basketball iq, especially on the defensive end of the floor.

Jokic's effort this season is beyond pathetic. What a frustrating team to follow. Another Jokic's loss, the guy just don't care this season.

At the last minute: we don't have timeouts because Malone wasted them, Hyland who scored 5 threes should be on the floor, and Malone didn't call Murray intentionally to miss 2nd free throw 5 seconds before the end at -2.

Jokic played 34m and Doncic 37.5m, in these 3.5 minutes when he is on the floor and Jokic was out Luka has +9 in +/- column (-2 in 34 minutes playing with Jokic). But the real problem today was not Doncic but Hardaway and Finney-Smits who averaged 15 and 10 ppg this season, but tonight scored 30 and 20...

Yeah, because Denver hard doubled Luka almost every time he passed halfcourt. That leads to wide open looks...

Wow, wasn't sure anyone in DAL could do that kinda hard math, Captain Obvious. It's the best opportunity to get Doncic frustrated, but his passing was rewarded with 12 assists. The Nugget's defense failed to rotate, that's why there was uncontested shots.
