The MUST-WIN game for Denver.. the only time it happened in the 2023 playoff was GAME-5 vs Suns, so let's see how the team will deal with it.

If you want to chat about this game, there is a special Denver-Minnesota thread on General Board with already over 150 pages.

Murray play off performance had been pathetic so far, 37%FG is non acceptable. His calf mught be an excuse but then he should be selecting his shots more carefully. Non having a second ball handler is killing Denver offensively.
I expect a true great performance in Game 3. He should set the tone for his teammates. If he needs to score 50 points, so it be, now it is time to show why he is 3xMVP. Winning game 3 we are still pretty much alive

Watson role would be to disrupt Conley, he has all the tools to hunt down 36 year old point guard, size, quickness, length. Braun would be on Edwards, he has the size and strength to at least bother Edwards a bit. Minnesota perimeter players minus Conley are all young and athletic players who are playing with the high energy. You have to match energy with energy. Murray and KCP are good as useless in these match ups. They are hurt, they are moving slow on both ends of the floor. Maybe them playing off the bench would benefit them greatly . I think with Braun and Watson in the starting line up at least defense would have been much better. Too bad Denver has clueless and gutless coach without any imagination and the gift for improvisation.
