Dallas +3 lead on halftime is mostly thanks to Galford x-factor FG 7-7 shooting.

Strong triple-double by Jokic plus MPJ started and ended strong, would like to see him stay more aggressive. PW with another good game but RW struggled with his shooting again. Strawther gained some bench play back, shooting was OK but had lapses.

We not only won our fifth game in a row, but our wins against the Mavs and OKC in this series are high-quality wins against high-quality opponents.

But without AG and with a short bench, in-form Jokic was forced to play at almost 40 mpg daily and constantly produced some epic, historically notable numbers. Yes, it is amazing - but also scary (and in the Olympic year Joker didn't pause this summer). It is not a secret that Jokic's game style is less injury-risky than that of any other NBA superstar, but still, he is definitely in a dangerous zone playing 40mpg with maximum involvement (35-15-15-2-2 daily numbers request gladiators-like efforts, not just talent).

BTW did you notice that in 5 out of 7 Denver Nuggets wins so far this season, opponents have last attack shot to win but missed :lol:

How about those Booth picks, CB, Swatson and Strawther. Home run picks all.

We need Vlatko back. Joker can't play 40 minutes every night for 82 games. Since we've given up on Zeke, Saric, and Tyson and Gordon won't be back for a few weeks, Vlatko is the only hope in the nearterm for taking some frontline minutes away from Joker. Hopefully Cancar is ready by Friday.

Under normal circumstances, the FO will keep a tight lid on any information about Aaron Gordon's injury. ESPH reported he would be out multiple weeks but that report was 6 days old.
