Since the playoffs are looking so-so and frankly and since the team has played with very little consistency all year. Who on this roster will be here next year....
My thoughts are Melo, K-mart, maybe Nene and possibly Kleiza and JR. I don't see others being on the roster next year. AI probably opt out and if he does I can see a S&T for peanuts. You might have to trade Kleiza with Camby to get a better packaged deal in return? I don't know what we could get for trades, but my guess is that it wouldn't be too terribly much with age and contract issues for AI and Camby and Kleiza (if in a deal) his inconsistency. Melo and other's might have to be lottery bound for next year as well???

I don't see the team being all that different.
Chucky, Nene, KMart, and Hunter are hard to trade.
Melo won't be traded.
I suspect AI will give it another year.
Najera supposedly likes Denver so I imagine him re-signing for a lesser contract.
They almost have to keep Kleiza after balking on all of the trades this year.
I bet JR gets a lot more minutes over the rest of this season, and how he performs will determine whether they try to re-sign him. I already wonder if they're trying to evaluate him now.
Rumors were that they were shopping Camby for Gasol. And although he's putting up great numbers the management has to start realizing what a liability he can be. If anyone goes, my bet would be on him.

Arenas is gonna sign for the MLE?
Even if Iverson opts out, and if the Nuggets don't resign him, they are still gonna be well over the cap with Melo, Nene, Camby, and K-Mart. They aren't gonna have money to sign major free agents. Maybe if they work out a sign and trade with AI to Washington, but I don't see any other way that the Nuggets could get Arenas.

Would Kroenke really bring back a team that has been consistently inconsistent all year? Chucky's only making 3.2 and 3.4 mill and if he plays so so down the stretch...maybe we can ship him off for a 2nd round pick and some bubble gum?? (sarcasm, sorry)
Honestly, I loved the talent on the team and thought it could work, but they just don't play team basketball enough and they haven't found a way to bring the talent they have to be a team...maybe it is just a coaching change? Just to think Melo, AI and Larry Brown..."We're talking about practice." TO would even get his popcorn for that....lol (more sarcasm)
I can't see Silent Stan footing the high bill for alot of hot air and lack of results. Honestly, it very disappointing to many Nuggets fans. Sure they can still get in the playoffs and even make some noise potentially, but they haven't figured it out yet and time isn't on their side. They have to make some changes next year, and it can't just be a band-aid. (had to you GK's words...LOL)
Honestly, can any fan watch another year like this one, close to being great, but just keep finding ways to lose instead of finding ways to win and be a team... It's frustrating and heart-breaking.
