yeah i was wondering where he was last night... poor job by karl once agian. AC has been playing good ball, but I would still rather have atkins for his shooting. Karl is just lovin that he could have 50 wins this year and not make the playoffs so that he looks good and probably doesnt get fired. Weak Tits

yeah what happened to Chucky? team puts together one of its biggest wins with him playing a part (a definite, verifiable impact).....he sees less playing time?

:wavefinger: Chucky you are ruining the pity party

ugh.

two thoughts...
at least jr's not being benched because atkins is back.
but good god....AC needs to be off the court, even if its for a semi-out-of-rhythm and unfamiliar chucky atkins.

AC has his moments.....but yeah Chucky needs to play. Not only is he a fresh face on the court but he can knock those shots down (that the team seems to be 'settling for' late in the last 3 games). JR should lose no minutes if not gain a couple here and there.

Denver's starting lineup puzzles me. I fail to see what Anthony Carter's purpose is. AI handles the rock all the time, Carter isn't a great shooter and certainly isn't a great defender.

Why not

AI / Carter or Atkins
JR / Diawara
Mello / Kleiza
KMart / Najera
Camby

Or

AI
Diawara /JR
Mello
KMart
Camby

I like the first rotation better, but either makes more sense to me than what Denver's doing right now. I think Denver misses Steve Blake a lot. Starting him made sense because of his 3 point shooting.

Nothing against Carter, he's a journeyman who's worked his butt of to stay in the NBA, but in my opinion he serves absolutely no purpose as a starter on this Denver team. This guy is averaging 28 minutes per? and JR Smith is only averaging 18 minutes? My goodness I don't get that. The starting guards are Carter and Iverson is there any wonder why the Nuggets can't defend the perimeter?

Sometimes as a fan I get the impression that coaches over think things and make things harder on themselves than they need to be. This rotation in Denver makes me feel that way about Coach Karl.

Melo is spelled with one L, sorry it really bugs me when people say Mello.

I think most people in this forum would agree Carter will not take us anywhere in the playoffs. I would love to see Diawara or J.R. take that 2 spot, but then again Georgie is our coach so not likely.
