Can you for a moment forget Melo's stats? Grab your PS3/ XBOX, put on 2K8 or Live, and play Melo and let him score 100.

I'm just saying he don't get the ball. Team was losing, Carmelo comes and dominates the 3rd, then he get frozen out. In the first half he took 7 shots. lolol

in the first half melo shot 4-9 from the field, 9 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 0 turnovers.

third quarter...melo dominated. he almost outscored the entire grizzlies for that quarter. he posted I think 12 in that quarter...with the nuggets up by 10. then karl took him out and the grizz went on a run, highlighted by that gay halfcourt launch.

smith started chucking and it wasn't until 6 minutes left in the fourth that karl played melo again. it was scrub time anyways...so melo only got one touch, satisfied with the win.

melo was the one who kept us in this game offensively...especially with AI being a non-factor on the offensive end, forced to shoot perimeter jumpers the entire game.

smith finished the grizz off...but melo's offensive prowess was more important to the nuggets' victory.

^wow you two are melo fanatics for sure. AI had 26 points how was he a non factor when he scored more than Melo who had 23? Jr Smith is the one who made sure we won that game he was the player of the game plain and simple!

don't you get it? melo was 4-9 and ai was 3-11. melo CARRIED that team in the first half.

c'mon guys, give it a rest. it was a tight game and JR broke it open. melo played well. ai's shot was a off, but he still played well. without JR it would have been a much closer game.

Melo for MVP this year is a joke of an argument and I love Melo but cmon.

MVP Voting according to me

1. Kobe
2. CP3
3. Garnett

I take it you didn't watch the game?

the grizz went zone and the nuggets weren't used to playing that defense. melo couldn't post up. AI couldn't penetrate. AI responded by jacking up three after three (being 1-6 from behind the arc at one point). despite the lack of scorers around him...melo put the team on his back.

he scored. he grabbed boards. come the third quarter...melo went off. he almost outscored the grizz the entire quarter. the nuggets built up a 10 point lead. karl took melo out...the lead went away. while melo was on the bench...smith went crazy. that's where AI proceeded to rack up all of his assists on the game...by feeding it to a black hole on offense that couldn't miss.

AI helped his FG% a lot in the scrub time, because he was horrible the entire game and couldn't stop shooting three's.

I'm glad they won, but its been this way for a while now and Denver didn't win each game. A.I. turned him into a role player is all I'm saying

you really need to start watching the games, dude.

melo was our first option scorer. he's been playing unselfish as of late...and passed out of the double team each time it came.

we were playing against a zone and this game the nuggets didn't focus on isolation scoring. we moved the ball around and everyone on the perimeter (melo didn't play much on the post) moved the ball around.

melo was our most valuable player in that game.

Good win after a poor first half the nuggets turned the heat up and pulled away in the 3rd and jr came alive in the forth and just put the game out of reach then, 3-2 is not bad at all and now were back home and hopefully we'll win the next 2.
