Is is time to end the AI experiment?

Post#1 » by manchambo » Mon Apr 7, 2008 4:21 am

After carrying terrible teams for so long, it's hard to know why AI has come up so small for the Nuggets when it matters. But watching him miss two clutch freethrows tonight, after basically playing like crap for the last two games, and thinking back on the Spurs series last season, I have to question what we've gotten out of having him on this team. Certainly no closer to a championship.

And between him and Melo in the last two games (and in last year's playoffs) is there any real question who is this team's real prime time player?

So the question is--do we let AI go in the offseason?

honestly, this will go nowhere good.

particularly when everyone's all emotional immediately after a bad loss.

if we're gonna make these threads, lets wait until a week after the season's really over.
