except it usually only happens against the Nuggets...Hell, Utah has lost to Minnesota twice this year. We just don't play any d... if we had a few players that would play d....we could beat them...don't make Utah into something they aren't... they are physical, mean, and tough...but they will get beat because they won't have enough shooting or athletic prowess. I think many people overrate them...I don't care where they go....I still don't think they are that good...D Will is great...Brewer is athletic... Boozer is a D Will creation... Okur is hit but usually miss. and Harping is a wanna be Bruce Bowen..... YUCK...
Even if I bought all this crap that would only mean that whatever you value as being essential for success doesn't mean jack in this league.
The Jazz don't win games by just being physical. The Jazz win games by playing extremely smart, executing a brilliant offensive scheme to perfection, being unselfish, and by having depth.
For not having enough shooting the Jazz somehow manage to have five guys shooting over 50%, and 1 at 49.9%.
They are also 2nd in the league in FG%, a mere 0.1 percentage point behind the Suns for best in the leauge. They are also 6th in the league in 3PT %. Either they do know how to shoot or they have an offensive that lets them get easy baskets. Either way the job gets done.
