Pros/Cons:
Hornets
Pros:
Hornets hardly have playoff experience altogether.
Their homecrowd might be smaller than other teams, should give us some advantage.
Cons:
Anthony Carter defending CP3
Their team is loaded with 3 point gunners
JR Smith has struggled against NOH in the past
We are yet to beat them when they're healthy.
Lakers
Pros:
Kleiza plays well against them.
George says LK will probably start meaning less AC.
AI plays well against them.
No Bynum, and maybe Ariza.
Cons:
AC and LK defending Kobe.
Phil Jackson... how badly is he going to outcoach Karl?
Coby Karl.
No one on this team can stop Kobe wo double teaming... but now they have a much improved Odom (who turns into beast mode in the playoffs anyway), and Gasol.
All their players on their 9-10 man rotations can PLAY.
Spurs
Pros:
We've been able to compete well against them this season.
Nene and K-Mart should be able to do well against TD.
We have played them quite a lot before, and should know what they bring.
Cons:
Eva Longoria.
They have beaten us in every playoff series with Melo.
Can JR Smith, LK hit shots against their tough D?
Nene??
Manu Ginobili.

we're forgetting that if we play the spurs...it's not battle against only san antonio. it's against the referees.
odds are tim duncan won't be called for a foul in the entire series.
1. Hornets
2. Lakers/Spurs
3. Spurs/Lakers
lakers are without bynum.
camby won't be exposed by the 19-year-old.
have k-mart play physical with gasol.
let kobe get his...shut down his teammates.
DO NOT DOUBLE HIM. radmanovic, fischer, farmar, and company will light us up on three's.

I wouldn't have wanted to face the Lakers even before the Gasol trade. We just don't match up well with them, and the only guy who might be able to defend Kobe(Khouba) will be on the bench the entire series.
We've played the Spurs very well this season, and we can definitely hang with them in a seven game series. And as said before, New Orleans' lack of playoff experience could hurt them.
I'd say the 'x-factor' in any series would be our bench. One of JR or Kleiza has to be there every single night. Neither showed up last year, and it clearly hurt us. Someone has to find their shot early and stay consistent with it.

Lakers in 5. Happy fishing in 2 weeks
I love your guys let Kobe get his logic. Kobe plays within in the offense and know's how to swing the ball around when he gets smothered. We have way to many pieces with guys playing consistent ball in the starting lineup and in the bench. You guys are toast don't kid yourself.
