Trade Suggestion From Knicks Fan

I thought of a trade before I came here that I think might help both teams. I decided to look at some posts before I did and saw some New Jersey scenarios. My New Jersey suggestion was going to be...

Melo...Kleiza...and 20th pick

4

Carter...M. Williams...and 10th pick

Keep J.R. and let him try to blossom into a star at 2 guard and pair him with Carter and A.I. Your team could extend A.I. for 3yrs but only to a reasonable extension with a TO on the third yr to match Carter's deal. If the team doesn't produce then obviously by 2011/2012 you can dump(not exercise TO) on both A.I.'s and Carter's contracts. Bring Marcus Williams to be groomed as the future point guard. With the 10th pick draft a defensive player either at the 4 spot or guard spot (Arthur or Westbrook) tell the rest of your team to take a hike..

That is a terrible trade. First of all, no way you get the 20th pick. Second of all, you want Melo for a broken-down, soft Carter and an unproven PG? AND Kleiza?

Yeah, take out LK and the 20th pick, and it is still a bad deal for Denver. Sorry.

Carter? He has sucked ever since he left Toronto. Take out Melo, LK and 20th and it's still a bad trade.

wasn't new jersey trying to shop carter for an expiring contract at the trade deadline?

now we have to give up melo for him?
