Nuggets open 2008-09 on the road

Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony will be able to take part in opening-night festivities at the Pepsi Center.

According to multiple NBA sources, the Nuggets will start the 2008-09 season with two Western Conference road games, including the opener against a Northwest Division opponent.

Anthony will not play in either of those games while serving a suspension for his April arrest on a drinking-and-driving charge. He pleaded guilty in June to a reduced charge of driving while ability-impaired.

The complete NBA schedule will be released today.

League sources confirmed Tuesday that the Nuggets will play a New Year's Eve game in Toronto.

Can't say that we will for sure lose to Clips without Melo, but 0-1 is is a no brainer here.

wow,what did the nuggets do to the schedule maker.1st 2 on the road then open the pepsi center with the team that whooped our asses in the playoffs!

mr. camby will get his 1st crack at revenge the 2nd game of the season.nuggets could be off to a bad start!(0-?)

Open in Utah with out Melo.
