LOL what's even funnier is the comment about AI is being overrated.
He took a team on his back to the NBA finals, and Tmac can't even get out of the 1st rd in EITHER conference.
If Ai is overrated, then Tmac is even more overrated.

The sad thing is that the Rockets fans have been getting that way every offseason since they got McGrady, we will see what happens as I am far from convinced that Artest is the answer for any teams playoff prayers.

I have to agree with this ^^^. Yao, Tmac, and Artest miss quite a few games on average. If they can't stay healthy, or if one goes down at the right/wrong time, they are in the same boat that we are usually in with Nene. If the Artest thing doesn't work out, then the Rockets gave up 3 pieces for a one year rental. He is already being a nutcase to the media about the trade. It will be fun to see how it all unfolds for the Rockets.

Knicks/Suns fan here.
I think everything would be fine with the Nuggets if they called up Chicago and offered up their trade exception for Kirk Hinrich. Hell, even trading it for the two years left of Larry Hughes' deal (if the numbers match up) would not be such a bad idea.
It's just too bad that Nuggets management doesn't seem to have the balls to spend big money now. Both Hinrich and Hughes would work next to AI.

how would hughes work out?? it didnt exactly work out too well when they wer together in philly and Hughes is a wayyyyyy overpaid scrub. Also a shooting guard. We have JR, and AI will not play PG. Apparently Denver contacted the bulls about the TE for Hinrich but i think before anything is done they have to get BGordon out of the way for them to consider it. I'm still praying for Hinrich...

Lakers - resigned sasha BUT loss Turaif, no improvement
Warriors - lost Bdiddy and overpayed for Maggette, no improvement
Spurs - lost Barry and Horry, signed Roger Mason Jr, drafted Hill and resigned KT, no improvement but they got younger
Jazz - traded hart for knight, no improvement
Suns - have done nothing
Mavs - Overpaid Diop and have done nothing else signifcant
thats 6 of the top 9 West teams last year that haven't improved. Exactly how is everyone else improving? You can't include the lottery teams who improve through the draft coz that is just a natural progression. The Blazers have only improved coz they have been so crap for so long that they have stockpiled lottery picks and they are finally getting some reward from being rubbish.
Lakers - They lost Turiaf, but they're getting Bynum back. They made it to the Finals without him, so with him, and his continued improvement.....
Warriors - Lost Davis, yet, but picked up Marcus Williams, who, at least, will help off the bench, Ronny Turiaf, who proves much energy and defensive help, and Corey Maggette, who will make up for Davis' scoring load. In addition, Brendan Wright will continue to improve, and Randolph has a LOT of potential.
Spurs - Got younger. Horry didn't play much, and hasn't been clutch for the past few years. Didn't get better, didn't get worse.
Jazz - Traded for a backup point guard who actually could make a difference, and drafted a center who will do well working with Okur.
Suns - They got Matt Barnes. That's not really "nothing." Also drafted Robin Lopez, who will see many minutes when Shaq gets in foul trouble. Lopez helps their defense and Phoenix needs that.
Mavericks Overpaid, maybe. But they improved their bench and got better defensively. Also, with Jason Kidd being there for the entire training camp, he is bound to find his niche.
In addition, the Blazers got better with Oden, Bayless and Fernandez, not to mention solidifying their bench with the Indiana trade. The Rockets got better with Barry and Artest. The Clippers now have Camby, Baron and Ricky Davis.

You have forgotten New Orleans. They picked up James Posey. This should ensure that they at least stay in the number 2 spot in the west. Wouldnt it be nice to be in the east.
Some of you complain about Denver ownership not spending the big money. Doesnt Denver allready have one of the largest payroll?

I dont think any Nuggets fan on this board has ever complained about our ownership not spending big money, how they spend it is what gets me upset... Im angry by the fact Kroenke is spending all this money for no reason... because this team is going NOWHERE with GK as our head coach
