Any news about Nene? He will be ready to go?

Post#1 » by PeTBuLL » Fri Aug 15, 2008 10:20 pm

No one talk´s a word about Nene´s status! He is our main center now (thx god!), and i´m praying for his healthy, but, you know he is been faling with that for a looong time...

Other question!? Nene can be considered as a reinforcement for this team?

Nene is supposed to be in Denver working with Hess and the coaches to get healthy, improve conditioning, and work on his game. If nene could somehow stay healthy and play to his potential this season he could be a major part of this team once again. But even I the 2nd biggest Nene fan on this board have pretty much lost hope for him.

well we still need another decent big off the bench.

seeing as Nene is replacing Camby.
Balkman is replacing Najera.

who replaces Nene off the bench? surely we can do better than Birdman and Hunter.

I think the Nuggets may bring in one more big, it depends on what they decide to do with AI, as Kroenke does not seem to be willing to shell out the luxury tax again for this team as it is currently constructed, and the only other piece to move that has value is AI, as JR and Melo should be parts of the rebuilding process.
