OT: How much does League Pass cost?

Hey there fellow NBAheads.

I have a friend in Boulder Colorado on Comcast cable. Thinking of buying him League Pass for his Birthday. Tried to find the answer online and failed.

Anyone know the price for the 08-09 season, and when it goes on sale?

i have directv so i dont know how much it cost for comcast but i pay 169 dollars for 4 months or 4 payments of 42.25

Why only 4 months? I assumed it would be around $150-$175 for the whole season.

i think he might be mistaken (or mis-typed it). its $160 for the entire season (november through april) if you get the early bird offer. 169 or 179 (i forget) if you wait until after the season starts. or you can make 4 payments of whatever that number divided by 4 is.

also keep in mind he has to have digital cable (a cable box) to receive nba league pass. i think that upgrade's ~$5 a month with comcast. so you might want to check with him on that first.

I'm up in the air on whether or not to re-up my League Pass. I'm sure I'll get that itch as the season approaches.

same here.
$12 a month for tivo. $12 a month for netflix. $50 for directv. hard to justify another $20 for nba...especially because i'm not that jacked on seeing other teams. might just stick with the nuggies this year. or at least wait until it goes to $99 in january.

I dropped it a couple of years ago. NBATV hijacked a few really good Nugs games that I wanted to watch and didn't make them available on league pass. And I realized that I just don't give a damn about 90% of the games they were showing. Too many nights I'd come home to the choice of Atlanta vs. Washington or Milwaukee vs. Memphis.

You could buy some sweet shoes for what you'd spend on it though.

being that my city didn't have a team until this yr(2 seasons of the hornets)league pass was a must and still is to see my favorite team every game.

when the hornets were here I would go to the games and dvr all the nuggets games but it was a bitch not being able to look at the scoreboard for around the league.
