First off Phil, yes, A.I. played great... ONLY IF HE DID THAT WITH CARMELO PLAYING. Why the **** is he deffering to those players though when we needed him to carry us without Carmelo?

Now Nutty, Anderson shouldn't have moved anyway. It doesn't matter if it was a bad call or anything, why take the chance? And because I like Camby I should be a Clippers fan? Shut up. YAY we played A.C. 35 minutes, who else were we going to play? Atkins is hurt and Klieza/Jr ot plenty of minutes. Balkman while I like him, is a good defender and energy player. He got his time in the 4th and had a spark. Thats the only problem I had with Karl, is when he pulled him and put Kmart back in.

But Karl doesn't deserved to be blamed for this loss. The stupidity and the lack of effort on the boards is what cost us this game. Maybe we should blame A.I. Jr, LK, Kmart, or Nene for something sometime. Just once in a while they deserve blame.

lols

folks said they wanted AI to shoot less this year.

when he plays the way he was instructed to play, people blame him for the loss.

the problem isnt AI.

the problem is Karl.

Karl played AC and Dahntey, entirely too many minutes and didnt utilize balkman enough.

A.I played great. He played the way he and Carmelo need to play for the Nuggets to advance out of the first round. Kleiza was horrible. He hit a big shot late but most of the game he was off. They pounded us on the boards. Alot of it was off rotation guys coming to block shots like Kenyon. The guards and the forwards need to block out. I like the overall defense with the exception of letting Carlos Boozer catch the ball 5 feet away from the basket too often early in the game. Also the freethrows are a concern when Kenyon,Nene and Birdman get to the line. A.C played good early then faltered late in the game looking sloppy on multiple possesions in the 4th. Overrall I was pleased with the effort. Now lets get that game against the Clips.
Thats why Im easy easy like Sunday morning.

I dont think you can put it on kmart in that situation, that was all on Iverson... what was he thinking just giving thee ball up to a big like that in a clutch situation when down 3?

would think a veteran like him would have a little more awareness.... I guess not.

double covered, who was AI supposed to pass the ball to?

the real question is why did kmart inbound the ball and stay at the top of the key?

in the end he was the open man and had to take the shot.

this loss was on Karl for not playing balkman enough

well not one of our Bigs when down 3 with only 5 seconds to go..

^^^^ this is just what I was thinking right here, there is no way this team is going to win 50 games this year playing AC 35 minutes a night.

The one critical thing besides the lack of being able to hold onto the ball is not keeping Balkman in after he began making a huge difference for the team.

I'll tell you what, you leave Balkman in for 10 more minutes and the Nuggets have a win on this one. Not a complicated solution at all and doesn't cure all the ugly basketball that went on, but Balkman is getting paid and he changed the dynamic on the floor.

Balkman doesn't have to average 25 mpg all season - just 18 minutes for game 1 while Melo is out and everyone is looking confused.

Only a fool does not see this. C'mon Karl, take your head out of the sand.

put the ball in the basket like this
