Nice it brings me a smile.
I have a feeling with this "steadiness" Billups brings, somewhat our team is gonna be less injury prone. In terms of being less reckless for any shot attempt, in terms of being smarter and more efficient. Especially for Nene, he knows now there's a PG who can get him the ball, he's not gonna rush shots. Now he knows he will get 9-12 shots a night. He's gonna be able to focus better on rebounding and defense... I would think he's a strong candidate for MIP.

And in case you didn't know, I CAN NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT BILLUPS! If you look through the last game thread, saying Billups played bad gets you attacked by the whole board WHO RARELY SEEN HIM PLAY BEFORE he came to the Nuggets (this season).
Hahaha, alright man, I think we've got it straightened out. I'd like 'Melo to shoot 50% too, I'm just saying he didn't play as bad the post made it seem. Billups will get his stroke figured out too, but for now we've got pretty solid ball distribution, so 40% shooting on 17 shots for Carmelo is actually pretty good IMO.
P.S. Melo is my favorite player too in case it wasn't clear...

^^^^ Since Miller left mine has been Nene and I hope he can stay healthy because we really need what he is doing for us this year. I have always been a tough critic on Melo for some reason I always expect more from him than any other player on the team.

Are you still a nuggets fan or you becoming a pistons fan now that ai moved team?
I was wondering the same thing...
i am still a nuggets fan... but the thing is complicated. really. i am a sixers fan as well... i think you know why

it was like this. the reason i watch basketball is because a small guy, 6 feet tall, who prooved everybody wrong saying that small guys can't compete in the NBA, really inspired me at the age of 12. i started to become really interested in basketball. a year later this small guy reached the finals and showed me that it doesn't matter how tall you are as long as you fight for the things you want to reach in life.
so, yeah, at first i'm an Allen Iverson fan and always will follow the team he is on as long as he is in the nba. but over the years i fall in love with the sixers organisation and their incredible talent (dalembert and iggy). but then time told iverson to move on to the nuggets and i followed him. i still love the sixers very much... iverson played for more than 2 years in denver and i watched nearly every game, maybe missed about 10-15 games at all and same as in philly i was impressed with the talent and the guys who are around denver. nenê reminded me very much on dalembert when he still was developing and injury prone. but nenê is a great individual talent same as J.R. and what i loved most about the time i spent with the nuggets was the spectacular style they had playing basketball. but iverson... again... had to move on. i was happy to hear it's the pistons because i WANT this small guy to win a title and his chances are greater in mo-town than here, not to mention that i always hated george karls stupid style of coaching and the lineups he put on the field night in night out. i really don't know many coaches who would start A.C. and A.I. for a whole year and strating to wonder why things didn't went they way they thought they would. still can't understand it.
but i love the passion i got from martin and nenê. nenê is a player i will follow the next years very closely because i think he can become a true all-star type of player and i like him as an individual. i still love the nuggets. yeah, iverson moved but denver is still in my heart. and i want them to win and i know they are better without a.i. because they didn't put the right team/starting PG next to him...
as you see. it's very hard for me to say i love this or that team. the point is i love Denver and i love the Sixers as well, now it's detroit too, which makes it even crazier for me. i loved the Ben/Sheed Wallace pistons... now it's the sheed/shaun/rip/iverson pistons i have to follow as well.... i love A.I. as an individual, but love the sixers AND nuggets as well. so i'll continue to cheer for them ... look at it like this. there are 3 kids i got from my girl and the point is i love em all
it's hard to describe my feelings about that because my english isn't as good as my german or polish for example, but i think you guys understand what i try to tell you.
i mean, i have a denver nuggets blog (look at signature), how couldn't i still love em?

Lol sorry for coming @ you so stong LegendaryWalton
Don, I think you meant to say you have 3 kids by 3 different women (Sixers, Nuggets, Pistons) and now that you're with your 3rd baby mother (Pistons) you love...you pay attention to that kid the most now.
