i only saw the second half of this game. based on what i saw and some other games i've seen, this offense seems to function so much better with anthony carter at the point than when chauncey is at the point. i'm sure chauncey is still learning the offense but karl shouldn't hesitate to play carter more minutes until chauncey gets fully acclimated.

kenyon martin....ugh...i just don't like the guy. what a bone headed move to get a technical late in a close game. i guess he brings more positive than negatives....i'm just sick of seeing him chuck up those horrid looking jumpers. just dunk it dude....you're not going to suddenly develop a jump shot at this stage of your career.

jr had a great game. he was really being aggressive and looking for his own shot. just imagine this guy if he ever reaches his potential....he would be scary.

chris paul is the new orleans hornets. the guy is such a weapon. he can really do it all.

this seems like a game we should have won.....nobody seemed to really want it in the 3rd quarter. oh well.......

alwyas tough to win on second of b2b.

our offense sucks with carter at point, don't get that confused. he's an awful decision maker. billups just didn't play that well for whatever reason.

kmarts shot the jumper well this season, and its gotten better as his careers gone on. just didn't go down this game, just like david west wasn't hitting all his. not a big issue. that was a bogus technical....refs shouldn't give the other team a point when you kick the table out of frustration at the end of a close game. that's the refs deciding the outcome, not the players....and its not how the game should be officiated.

hopefully this game sparks jr out of his slump to start the season.

nene was pretty awful, kmart looked tired, paul hit a 28 footer as the clock expired in a defenders face to save the game for them, and melo nearly had a steal before the hornets recovered and peja got a 3....some lucky stuff going on and a bogus T. overall i'm not too upset. losses happen. still 9-3 with billups and minnesota next.

Why did Billups fade on that three? He had enough time to catch his balance before shooting.

I don't know why you leave Peja and Posey open from the three.

That tech was ridiculous. It's not like he booted the stupid sign. Why ruin a great game for such a small expression of frustration?

Well that was disappointing. Good to see JR finally break out though.

Back to the regular old game threads I suppose.

We really killed ourself was the over doubling of cp3, were always leaving a men open on the perimeter because of this.

I rather someone play paul straight up and make him beat us instead of letting peja and freaking posey of all people open behind the arc late in the game.

The hornets got a little lucky with all the tip in and freaking 30 footer by paul to tie it up, i bet he won't make another one of those in another 5 tries. That kmart tech was also ridiculous.

The only bright spot for us was JER finally got it going and hopefully he's officially out of his shooting slump, tough loss fun game off to the next one at minny.

BTW, corona i think you should start making those normal game threads. The hot tub could only get us so far now it's time to change it :D

Wow Posey never misses a clutch three in his life hasn't he?

That CP3 three was a bit of luck imo although he shot it with confidence. I'd take that shot again any day... our defense was good and he had no choice but to shoot it... it went down for them... sucks for us :(

Good game though.

Nuggets played a great game; CP3 and Posey just hit big shots, not much you can do about that.
