I was wondering about that... I hadn't checked his stat line until after the game. Should we be concerned about his contusion? I'm no doctor, but that's just a deep bruise, correct? I've bruised my knee before, and the swelling really slows you down. Although this is the first I've heard of it, the Altitude announcers seem to think this is a lingering issue for 'Melo, which may explain his poor shooting.

yea, melo said after the game its been bothering him for a couple weeks, and he just couldn't go in the second half. also said he should play on tuesday (against raptors)

Good win.
Nene and Kenyon did a good job on Yao the whole game and it showed.
Defense was there in the 2nd half, too.

P.S. What is going on with this forum? There was always more than 100 replies after a win or a loss. Now, its 40 max.

Corona,

You seem to have forgotten that Yao is 7'6". He doesn't dunk.

Good win tonight.
Nene and Kmart did a great job on Yao.
Chauncey lit it up in the 2nd half, I like those 10 assists too.

How about Jr's windmill dunk near the end there, that was pretty. Too bad it didn't count though. I'd love to get a clip of that to use as an avatar.

Nice win tonight. Nice to beat a team we'll be competing against for playoff positioning.

I know we're winning and that's the most important thing, but it's still nice to see a full forum with people and replies

Game thread vs Toronto coming up soon.

We are playing good team basketball at the moment, and it is fun to watch.

Agreed on Kmart's defense tonight. Parts of his game go unseen by boxscores. Actually, everyone that played did something nice out there tonight. Andersen gives Artest all kinds of fits in the paint. Dahntay Jones had a couple of nice blocks. JR hit some nice shots, rebounded well and had some nice dishes. Billups was drilling it and took over at key points of the game. I hope Melo gets over his case of jumpshotitis quick.

It was a nice win against quality opposition.

I've always loved the nuggets but i love watchin this nuggets team play. I LOVE watching JR play and i despise when he's on the bench even when he may need to be (which i think is rare). he's so damn exciting to watch. GO NUGGETS!!

Houston always has our number, no matter who's healthy and who's not. I'll take it.

I think missing Battier was really the key. He always manages to hit clutch 3's in the corner. You can tell that people are starting to develop a blueprint against us-- send your best three ball guy to sit in the corner and wait for us to get to aggressive on our rotations. Peja killed us like this, and I think Battier would have done the same thing.
