Nene couldn't even jump by the end of the game. I can't imagine letting a 310+ Lbs dude hang on me all game and then try to dunk it 40 minutes later. Balkman NEEDS to be playing in this game. Back to back games and you don't even give him a minute? No one could slow Tracy McGrady down and the rotations got destroyed because of it. We gave all we could for the first two quarters, got outcoached in the third, and ran out of gas in the fourth. We may not have won, but we wouldn't have gotten beaten as badly if Balkman gets significant time during the game.

Also... how are we going to win anything without a big man? Orlando, Houston, LA, and soon Portland (when and if Oden makes anything of himself) should be able to beat us every single game. LA has already proven that they can.

Eh. Weak game.

Not overly surprising, Houston (if healthy, or often times not) seems to always have our number.

Three quick thoughts:

a) Melo... rebounding?

b) Can't let Yao catch the ball so deep. If he catches it on top of the basket, he scores. You can't let him do it. I thought Andersen actually played Yao better than Nene - at least he threw some different looks at him.

c) Really, George? AC, Billups, JR all on the floor to end the game? Anthony Carter is useless.

At least in this game AC played better then Chancey, give the guy a break...

Billups got absolutely burned by Brooks on both sides of the floor. You can bet that many teams around the league are saving this game footage and finding new ways to contain Billups.

Yao is just way too big. He should be like 90% from the field and the defensive player of the year every year.

Problem is, he can't jump and has short arms for his size, so everything evens out.

That would be the scariest thing since Barkely racing a referee if we had a 7 foot 8 guy that had hops on top of that and a 10 foot wingspan.
