Ok. Positive take: Andersen and K-Mart battled Yao, Nene battled Yao. J.R. more active.

I don't like a loss, but I'm confortable with a loss as long as they were fighting for a win. We're talking about the ball bouncing one way or another. That's all.

When was last time we saw Yao that frustrated?
They did something right.

Hayes stepped right there and it was a good screen. They showed the replay from up top. Denver had the calls their direction just like the Lakers did most of the game. Yao got 2 blocks that were all ball. If you didn't see how we were screwed and probably would have lost because of the bitch Palmer and that other ref then you're not a legit Rox fan.

Man, I think the problem is there are so many bad calls either way that you just can't count them all. Someone would have to sit there and do a +/- on all the fouls and see how it affected the score. No one wants to do that though, at least with a neutral take.

Yao grabbed the ball at the buzzer to win. That's the win. He doesn't grab the ball, the ball is dunked. Kudos to Yao for making his free throws and clutch baskets....without Yao Rockets def. would have lost.

Good game guys , the refs sucked for both teams , you guys got the worst of it at the ned of the game.

I think it could have been a charge , no way you should call that so late when it's obvious.

Good luck the rest of the way and stay healthy.

:D Bird Man grabbed Yao's arm while the big fella was shooting the ball. Referee did not blow the whistle. Yao was upset so he screamed at the referee. The result was a technical foul.

you forgot to add they called a travel on Yao to boot... probably why he went off the deep end...

I think even most Rox fans would agree it wasnt a charge but a blocking foul at the end of the game...

but then if the Refs had given Yao fair treament the first 3 quarters of the game... it would probably not have been so close...

Well, you have to go about 5 seconds before that when Yao was setting up. Yao was doing a lot of grappling with Andersen that should have been a foul/so it goes (or doesn't go?) both ways. Like I said, there were so many mistakes by the refs you can't count them all...

So, I mean, Alston could have grabbed Anthony Carter's package and got away with it in this game. Alston also could have flopped and got a foul call on it. AC could have flopped and not got a call on it. Alston could have grabbed AC's package and Yao could have flopped and he might have gotten a call. I mean, it was all over the place.
