Steven Hunter

Hawks fan here. Just wanted to know what you guys think about Steven Hunter. Since his latest injury, and signing Chris Anderson, are you guys looking to ship him out, or save him as a contingency plan in case you can't re-sign Anderson. I'm assuming Hunter will be able to play in late Feb since his injury isn't as severe as was originally thought, but let me know if I've been misinformed. Thanks guys.

I think we'd like to use him as a trade chip. He has enough cash on his salary if paired up with a young player like Klieza might net us a good player (most likely a post player or backup pg).

I think it's pretty clear the Nuggets are looking to trade him.

I was very excited when the Nuggets acquired Hunter. I thought he would be a perfect back up for Camby.

Its very doubtful Karl will play Hunter if/when he is healthy. And I'm pretty sure Denver would be fine with dealing him. So if you're asking if you can include him in trades, go for it. Just don't increase Denver's total salary.

Steven Hunter? You mean he still plays?

In my eyes, he's pretty damn useless & just takes up a roster space we could give to someone else. I thought he would be a good player to have, but I think I've seen him play maybe, 2 games as a Nugget?
