I believe the season series is tied 1-1 so a win would be huge. They're rested but a little beat up too. No West or Chandler so our bigs should dominate, we just can't let them beat us with the long ball.
We've played very well with Melo out and a win here would be the icing on the cake.
I just saw a bunch of nuggets take the ball to the floor but then they were so tired they didn't want to protect the ball down low. The Hornets caught this and took the ball at every opportunity. Every opportunity. Not just one or two, one after another.
Started with Smith's attempted behind the back pass getting too fancy.....then no one seemed to be able t handle the ball very well.
Game started out good, 12 to 4, then Karl pulls the usual BS and doesn't do anything till the score is 14-13. Perhaps if he actually coached the team, called a time out to try and stop the run, Denver comes back and pushes the lead further, creating a bit more confidence and taking the crowd out of the game.
Of course.. Denver usually lets teams come back, but.. if they could have pulled away early to a big lead, who knows.
There's no way Karl's logic of keeping Balkman out of the lineup based on his offensive shortcomings can stand up after that performance by Dahntay. He looked like an old man at a rec league game.
