Camby or McDyess

During the offseason the Nuggets traded Camby for a second round pick. In the Billups trade Denver obtained McDyess but he didn't want to play for the Nuggets and returned to Detroit. Which player would have helped Denver more this season?

Mcdyess easily and that isn't a knock on Camby. Mcdyess was the low post presence that this team lacked/s. He can hit the mid-ranged jumper with consistancy, rebound, and stay in front of his man on defense. He would be my choice.

I think we would win the championship with Dice.

Call me crazy or whatever, but Dice is exactly the type of player we needed against the Lakers.

Denver actually needed a guy like Hinrich playing DJ and AC's minutes. When AC got playing time, Denver lost.

Although I will agree Dice could have been really helpful too.

Dice helping on the boards would have been huge. Plus, he can hit an open jump shot.

Camby might be a better player than McDyess, but McDyess would have been a much better fit. Camby would be redundant with Andersen around, but McDyess could have really given us that interior toughness that we could have needed. Plus, we all would rather trust McDyess with an open jumper, than Camby.

Yeah, I actually think either one (Hinrich or Dice) would have put Denver over the top this year. :(
