No they shouldn't do it. Most Nugget fans don't want him back. Melo I don't think wants him back. Was just being nice when he said that.

Karl already said that Camby would want starter's minutes, hinting that he wouldn't get them.
No way he comes back.

I was so happy when we traded Camby and please don't broadly generalize Nugget fans.

You also realize that he is under contract with the Clippers and cant just be signed right? Even if the Clippers released him, I dont think I would want him back. He may stuff the stat lines but he doesn't help the team win as much as one would think.

Re: Marcus Camby back to Colorado???
He's the same type of player as Birdman - we don't need two of the same exact player. At least Birdman understands his limitations offensively and doesn't force stuff.

Re: Marcus Camby back to Colorado???
Pretty obnoxious post....I'm a little tired of thinking about making changes to this team that do not actually help it progress forward. If you sign Camby, you're going to have to get rid of any other key player that has helped us get to this level. Letting Camby go was a sacrifice that worked out.
Next we're going to hear Camby for JR

Re: Marcus Camby back to Colorado???
I was watching a Clippers game, then I saw Camby flying high to get rebounds... like he was dominating the boards. I was thinking, damn, we could use that.
Then a few minutes later he pulled up for a jumper from top of the key and I remembered why we wanted him gone.
No way we're bringing it back..

All I miss about Camby is his rebounding ability.
What I don't miss is watching him shank dunks in the playoffs and taking jumpshots in must-score situations.

Re: Marcus Camby back to Colorado???
It would be amazying to get Camby back if he was willing to accept a birdman type role. We are extremly thin down low and desperately need another big.
If camby was willing to accept a 20-25 minutes a night role where he played extremly aggressive and managed 10 boards/4blocks and 2-6 garbage points he would be perfect for this team.
Unfortunately, I think if we got Camby back he would want 35 minutes a night. Would often have his lazy unmotivated stretches and would insist on getting 10 shots a night that consist mostly of ugly looking 18 foot jumpshots.

Re: Marcus Camby back to Colorado???
Just to reiterate what seems to be a concensus opinion here, I do not want Camby back in Denver. If I knew Camby would be alrighty with playing 20 mins a game, focusing entirely on the defensive end, and was able to give up having a role in the offense except for on tip-in's, then sure I would go for it. Otherwise, I am all for trying to trade for a bench big man, buying a late 1st rounder and drafting an experienced big man (Like a Dexter Pittman from Texas) or hoping for a bargain that slips between the cracks in free agency.
