This is just some bad luck for GK. Sux he will have to go through all the treatment that does drain you completely, no one deserves this and i hope he can make a full recovery.

That is awesome all these fans of other teams come by. They said basketball is like a heartbeat in the Nuggets Beat, so true, so true. Nuggets be pounding it day and night until the season ends.

The closest friend I will ever have got neck cancer a few years ago. I saw the disease, the treatments, and their effects on him and his wife up close.

The doctors gave my friend a one in three chance of living. Following one visit, I remember boarding a plane thinking I'd never see him again.

Well... after many months of tears, and pain and worry, he did live. I'm thankful every single day for that.

I came here in that spirit to wish George Karl the best through this. I wish I could express what I feel more eloquently and more strongly.

There's just clearly stuff more important than who wins a basketball game, at the end of the day. Most people understand that.

Nuggets coach George Karl, who was recently diagnosed with throat cancer, has already undergone five radiation and two chemotherapy treatments.

Dr. Jacques Saari said Karl's tumor, which had grown the size of a walnut, has already begun to shrink thanks to the treatments.

Saari described the first three weeks of Karl's treatment as the easiest and added that the last two weeks will be the toughest, adding that Karl will have major trouble swallowing and could develop oral ulcers.

Some early, but good news. Supposedly treatment on neck cancer is real hell, especially it sounds like those last couple weeks.

Keep fighting, big guy.

I just read that and it is good news. I know I bash him a lot, but I wish no harm to the guy in any way, shape, or form.
