noice.
gotta d up in williams/boozer better in the next games. melo & lawson should have their way with the jazz the whole series though. nobody on that team has a chance of defending them 1v1.

We need Afflalo and Ty to keep this up... J.R. and Melo gave the finishing blows but those two guys along with Melo were solid foundation
I am liking we limit Billups' playing time. He has history of fatigue in the second-third round. We need him in later rounds... I wouldn't have a problem if he plays just 26-28 mpg. Give playing time to fresher legs... we still need Mr Big Shot for his direction and leadership... but not at the expense of the team.

The wrong person died in his car wreck.
I hope Melo gets another DUI this series.

That's pathetic. Should be banned for a comment like that. I've been suspended for much much less.

Not just wishing death on someone....but wishing death on someone because they beat you in a **** basketball game. That's pretty low.

I saw those comments. I was very close to saying something that would have likely gotten me suspended, but I thought better of it before I clicked submit. I usually don't let comments on other boards get to me, but that was way over the line. Horrible fan. Horrible person.
That said, WAY TO GO DENVER! I knew Melo would get whatever he wants, but that was just ridiculous. He may not be on fire like that every game, but he will also get to the line a lot more too.
Nene needs to step up. This is his game to dominate.

Man our Arena is really hostile for opponents being much higher level is just tough
"I just couldn't breathe. I was trying to catch my breath," Miles said. "I got to the bench and couldn't slow it down, I got real nauseous, I couldn't breathe so I came (to the locker room) to catch my breath."

Good game nuggets fans, even though Im a Jazz fan, I knew we had no one to stick on melo after trading brewer and AK injured. Although a lot of Jazz people consider this blasphemy, the Nuggets are on of my very favorite teams.
Btw, all those JR treys... he was being guarded by Kyle Korver. Idk if thats good for us, because matthews would do a better job, or bad because without AK he gets big minutes.
Either way, thanks Kyle, for confirming what we all suspected.
Oh and we also got killed on the boards, the Millsap and Boozer PF / C combo is pretty devastating even though those are both great rebounders for the PF position.
I think we'll win at least 2 at home, but y'all are playing great.

Great game last night. Actually liked AD's rotations and what a game from Melo, 42 points on only 4 ft attempts? Didnt force many shots either. Was a little surprised too see Lawson get most of the meaningful minutes in the 4th quarter, but he looked great last night. Our overall guard play was amazing, Nugs were moving the ball great last night 29 assists to 8 turnovers.
As for the childish comments about JR Smith...... Its just a basketball game.

That's huge for us. That guy always seems to hit threes against us down the stretch of games. Though he is soft and Millsap is a lot better then him, but at least it severely weakens their front court depth, so we're more or less even now in that respect.

Yeah, that dramatic rise in elevation from 4000 to 5000 feet really got to Miles. Either that or he was talking about the mid-air collision with Billups that left him writhing on the floor for a few minutes.

Re: Game 1: Utah Jazz @ Denver Nuggets
One important thing about this game that shouldn't be overlooked:
The 8 man rotation is back.
IMHO the rotation of Melo, Nene, Billups, Martin, Afflalo, JR, Lawson, Birdman is the best 8 player lineup in the whole NBA in terms of individual talent.
Having guys like Graham, Allen or AC on the floor has hurt the Nuggets a lot but now they're back to their very successful 8 man rotation.
Let's hope they'll stay injury free.

I think if one of our bigs gets into early foul trouble, it wouldn't hurt to give Petro some PT. If he gets 10-12 minutes per game it can benefit Nene/K/Bird. Although, yes, we probably have one of the best 8-men rotations in the NBA.
