Here's some food for thought. Taking a charge is not a flop when the offensive player puts down his head, rams with his shoulder, or extends his off-arm. As soon as Melo stops doing these things, I will agree he is getting treated unfairly. But I question if he can even see half the time he dribbles. He just puts his head down, looks at his feet, and tries to run players over....nope, that wont get it done....
He also extends his arm away from his body, which is just an invitation for an offensive foul. I think it's unfortunate that in the NBA you have to flop to get an offensive foul called, but that's how it's become.
