I BELIEVE IF HE'S GIVEN THE CENTRAL PLAYER ON ANOTHER TEAM LIKE, CHRIS PAUL, ROY, HOWARD ETC. HAS HAD, HE WOULD BLOSSOM LIKE THEY HAVE. THESE COACHES HAS BEEN TRYING TO PLAY HIM OUT. YOU JOKERS WHO'S HATING ON MY NEPH, KEEP IT MOVING. WHEN GIVEN THE RIGHT SUPPORT IT'S ON. NO ONE GOING TO STOP JR BUT HIMSELF. PEACE!

Basically your Nephew is riding a wave, he's riding out a fantasy of playing in the NBA, it has come quickly and easily for him with his great athleticism & shooting range. Realistically its becoming clear that you can not expect him to do the things it will take to move his game and professionalism to any higher level than it currently is.

He's basically happy where he's at in this stage of his career. And, you are probably right that he had to get that poor grooming from somewhere (home).

He's trade bait now. I don't see him ready to be a starter after this regression. So he's been in the league 5 yrs now and he's not on track to be a starter,.. and he's entering his prime,.. as well as a contract year.

I think he may have also entered into the official bounce-around phase of his career as well.

He is a streak shooter that plays better at home then he does on the road. Kyle Korver isn't any different. Korver was a no show in both of the Jazz road games against the Lakers and yesterday while playing in front of the home crowd he was invincible. It is the role that is asked of players who are supposed to provide the spark off of the bench hitting the long ball. Sometimes the shot falls and sometimes it doesn't.

Korver makes about the same money that JR makes, Kapono got a big contract for a one dimensional player because he can knock down the 3. Matt Carroll got a similar type of over-paid contract for being a one dimensional 3 point shooter. JR has more of an all around game than all of these guys, so he will get himself a decent enough contract from some team if the Nuggets decide not to keep him.

He is only 24 years old, so if he is in his prime, which I don't think he is, he just entered it.
