Chad Ford, Lawson & Nuggets...

Post#1 » by FortWayneFlash » Tue Jun 15, 2010 1:31 pm

Got news for you boys and girls, there is no way Lawson is being moved to Pacers. Wark and the boys love Lawson. Pacers should have drafted him last year and are now trying to rectify that decision, no more and no less. Wark and the crew will not give Pacers a do-over on this one.

Chad Ford has it wrong; not the first time that has ever happened.

I can understand the love for Ty! The Pacers would have to give up a little more for him than just pick 10 to get Denver to bite. Maybe:

Pacers trade
# 10
Dahanty Jones
Josh McRoberts

Nuggets trade
Ty Lawson
Renaldo Balkman
Future Pick

Ewww.... that is awful.

And why was a thread started for this when there already is one? The newest WT seems to have it right. Denver wants to move up, Indy wants Lawson for their pick. It doesn't say Denver will trade Lawson. Yet people jumped to the conclusion that Denver will trade Lawson. Silly.

I Don't think Ty for a top 10 pick or the #10 pick is that bad. I think there are a lot of early draftees 3-13 that could Really help the nuggets. A ton of bigs that could round out the front line. Plus very useful pgs, and wings. But imo before they consider moving Ty they should try to move J.R, or Kmart/Nene. But If you move Kmart gotta bring a big back in return. Same with Nene.

We let Dahntay go last year, no way in hell we take him back. Mcroberts is okay, but really has no value as there are plenty of hustle bigs floating around that they could pick up for the LLE.

As I said in the other Lawson thread 10th picks are overated, and I doubt the Nuggets touch that type of deal without getting so other incentive. Unless a guy they love happens to fall to 10th, and then it is anybodies guess.
