from Draft Express:

NBA Scouting Reports, Southeastern Division (Part 2)
May 9, 2008
Overview: Thomas is a very efficient two-way player with the versatility to play both power forward and center. Though undersized, he is extremely aggressive and uses his powerful frame to back his man down, throw his elbows and shoulders around, and create space to get his shot off. Defensively, Thomas uses the same type of physical, frenetic, style to intimidate his opposition. He’s an excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor. Was forced to sit out the 07-08 season with a heart problem, but is scheduled to return in 08-09.

Thomas couldn't get minutes on an OKC team with no center... no thanks... we could prob get Koufos from Minny for a TPE or 2nd rounder or maybe Balkman

But what is it specifically that prevented him from getting minutes? A post presence, rebounding, big body.....that's all stuff we need. I don't know that OKC needed that quite as badly as this team did last season. And anyway, if a guy turns out to be bad for the team Karl probably won't play him anyway. (exception for smaller guards)

Fixed.

I think Thomas didn't play last year because of injury.

What about Rasho Nesterovic? He's a legit center. Doesn't have a history of injuries. He has limitations but you know what you're going to get. He had a down year last season but I think he could bounce back and play 12 minutes a game. He's a realistic target for the vet minimum.
When Vinny Del Negro sends in his taxes, he sends blank forms and includes only a picture of himself, crouched and ready to attack. Vinny Del Negro has not had to pay taxes ever.

 I stand corrected.

Idk I just really like the scouting report on him. I've never seen him in action but he sounds like exactly what we need to finish up/round out the roster.

...and we have to keep in mind we may not have a lot of room to work with $-wise

Obviously if money was not an issue there are more options.

Kwame Brown for the BAE for 2 years (player option 2nd year)?

he's the kind of player that could fit well with this team... we don't need him to touch the ball on offense... just rebound and defend... even though this guy is the biggest flop in NBA history, he's still big and is actually a good defender...

I actually would have liked Kwame way over Sheldon. Kwame has tiny hands but he is big and can rebound.
Anyways, I really hope Denver signs Sylven Landesberg (undrafted rookie). Denver should really get some young talents with cheap contract.
