This question is coming from the departure of Joey Graham who was our back up SF last year. Carney's athleticism is basically unmatched and has higher up side than Graham and he's a free agent which I haven't heard anyone trying to sign yet, I think the vet minimum would attract him to a playoff contending team
I'm sorry I couldn't post any vids of his performance (doing this post from a blackberry) but I think he averaged more pts/per game than Graham last year even though we're not neccasarily looking for scoring but he's a good defender and could slide to the SG spot occasionally.
What you guys think?

Yes but I'm a Carney fan.
He won't get minutes but I think he'd flourish in the Nuggets system.

I'd like it... but I think a couple of other teams would sign him and offer more minutes

I'm all for it. Gives us a decent backup plan if JR goes completely nuts or is traded.

We could probably use the bi-annual exception for 2yrs or so but they would probly rather use that on a big
