Nuggets land Al Harrington

Knicks fan here. Al Harrington is a good guy. You just don't want him in a leadership role. We really did not have any team leaders here in NY the last couple of years and Harrington was the best scorer that we had so he assumed that position. Many of our guys were younger, and besides David Lee, not much better than Harrington. He is a career backup and that is where he should stay. He always tries hard and will give a lot of effort. I don't have the same hate for him as many other Knicks fans have. I think that many of us in NY were seeing him trying to be the star of the team but he simply is not good enough to be a star player. A lot of the team's problems were blamed on Harrington because he ended up taking a lot of shots. He is who he is, a decent but not great player.
