Sure, he makes a ****-ton of bonehead plays and will never shy away from a wild three, but we rarely lose a game because of it. He wins far more games for us than he loses, IMO. Hell, Utah sweeps us in the first round last year if Jr doesn't go off in the 4th quarter of Game 1. He is a legitimate threat from anywhere on the court and can drop 40 any given night. There's no way in hell we'll ever get back a player that can have that kind of an impact in return for Jr.
I agree. Regardless of when u trade JR, his value has depleted, so u won't get much in return for his services despite his scoring ability. IMO the Denver Nuggets have the ball in their court, but if they trade Melo, which may best, don't wanna LBJ/CB4 situation. So if he's moved, that's where u will get the bulk of ur trade value. I feel though that if that happens, that will be 1 of many moves u guys will make. After Melo, I could see Smith, Martin, Birdman, and even Billups moving. Hey, its possible. For EXAMPLE ONLY: This could be some moves they would look into:
Trade 1:
Denver gets:
Troy Murphy
Terrence Williams
Derrick Favors
2 1st rd picks
N J gets:
Carmelo Anthony
Chris Anderson
Trade 2:
Denver gets:
Jamal Crawford
Mike Bibby
Zaza Pachulia
Marvin Williams
ATL gets:
Chauncey Billups
Kenyon Martin
Renaldo Balkman
Trade 3:
Denver gets:
Anthony Parker
2 2nd rd picks
Cle gets:
JR Smith
Young players, draft picks, expiring deals, salary cap relief. All u can ask for. Just a though. Grizz fan, signing out.
