Denver @ Boston

Game thread.

Mission: don't play like damn fools, even for 24 seconds, 'cuz ya ain't.
Result: W

Footnotes: Celtics no pushover. Take it too easy and Ray Allen will win the game with a corner three. Or Paul Pierce with a mid range jumper. Or Shaq with a free throw. Let's get it.

This just goes to show you how important 'Melo is to the team.

No offense, but you guys look like high school kids out there against Boston's defense.

cause he really helped the previous night against a far inferior team.

i'd say it shows more how terrible billups has become. every time an outlet went to him, the offense went absolutely nowhere. every time an outlet went to lawson, we scored or got an excellent look.

back to back off a close loss, against a great home team, on the road, with gary forbes, shelden williams and melvin ely all getting significant burn. what was the expectation?

this season has been frustrating for me so far, haven't had a chance to see many games due to work and lack of ...resources to watch. all i really have is what you guys comment on, and espn recaps etc.

is it time for Billups to retire? seems like he's a more of a hindrance to our chemistry more than any other factor.

i'm now resolved on the fact that Melo needs to be seperated from our team, earlier i didn't want to admit it, i thought that maybe the situation would sort itself out...doesn't seem likely. If anything this loss should send a strong message to the FO that it's time to make some moves. As much as i hate to see him go, I want to see the Nuggets competing with 100% effort and heart, more.

I'm also gonna bring GK into this one. I've been calling for his head for years, but backed off when the cancer hit, and then witnessed last years playoff demolition. I'm not saying get rid of him completely, i think he'd thrive in a FO/Coach mentoring position. There are definitely strong points about his coaching and i think that would be beneficial to a new coach brought in with a 'new' team. I don't want a coaching change until next season though, that wouldn't be fair.

sorry about this not being an actual game comment.
