If you guys expected a lost why bother watching the gm and getting upset? If anything you guys should of use ya experience down the stretch and not give our young guys any confidants at all. Since you Nuggets has "injury" issue, do you expect to go on a long losing streak? Pathetic Denver fans
Once again with the name calling. You do not find trying to slam a team fans after your team won a game that they should have won a little more pathetic? As for why watch, you never know teams can pull off upsets, but either way, after a decade of being pathetic why do you still watch the Knicks? As for the losing streak, of course we do not expect a long losing streak, but we expect to struggle on the road against playoff teams, most experts and many posters figured the Nuggets would be a 500 team without Andersen and Kmart, right now we are a 500 win team.

By the way what was the Knicks record without Turiaf who is not even as good of a backup center as Andersen? last I checked you were pretty bad, not add that to losing a starter, and being forced to start a minimum salary journeyman. Given your record without Turiaf I would guess you would be the worst team in the league.

 No.....just no.

By the way.....when you get a win like this you have to remember all of the wins the Suns got under D'Antoni and never got a title. Not saying the Nuggets have gone any further....just saying.

When you get piledrived by the Celtics we'll see how good the Knicks are.

Who DOESN'T get "piledrived" by the Celtics? They are the defending eastern conference champs.

And if we do happen to get "piledrived" by the Celtics, it's because our premier big man, Eddy Curry, and our premier shooting guard, Azibuke, are out with injuries.

And after Melo makes a beeline for NY, and Billups disappears, I guess it's back to the lottery for the Nuggets, huh? Its ok though, there's plenty of room on the Knicks bandwagon. Jump on.

Wow, you guys are lame. Crying excuses left and right. Big boys just shake hands and say "Good Game"

BTW -- Congrats on your two page game thread, a testament to Denver fans passion. It's no wonder Melo wants out. You don't deserve him.

Excuses? Once again the game went down to the last minute, against a team that is bad on the road, and has 2 of their top bigs out. That is not excuses, but instead facts. The idea that Knicks fans are celebrating a win against a team in those circumstances is actually pretty damn lame. It would be like the Nuggets fans trolling the Raptors game after they beat them the other night, not much to celebrate considering the team who was favorites won.[/quote

The difference is that Nuggets fans don't troll opposition teams after a loss... apart from the Jazz but that's because there is a bit of history and rivalry. They especially don't troll after beating an inferior team and then declaring themselves as one of the best teams in the league.

Hell you can go read some of the game threads of our wins. Not all of us have been impressed.

quackshot27 wrote:wow its funny how you guys say that you guys are missing 2 out of 3 bigs for this game. Well you guys didn't have them either when you guys beat the Knicks earlier in the season. Why the excuses now? You guys were probably saying how great the Nuggets were because you guys beat them without your bigs that game. Lets face it, you guys are mad because it is inevitable that Melo will become a Knick. Just take Curry, anthony randolph, bill walker, 3 million, and a couple picks and watch melo destroy your nuggets next year.

The question is does the fact that Denver won one game without Andersen and KMart say more about the Nuggets or Knicks? Fact is the Nuggets went on a 7 game winning streak with Andersen, and are a 500 team without, if you cannot understand those simple stats then you need more help then you can get on this board.

As for melo joining the Knicks, it is funny how people run with a story from a known Knicks homer, while ignoring the very words that come out of Melo's mouth, but when emlo says anything that can be twisted to be pro knicks, many knicks fans run with that as well.

YOu are 4-3 without Turiaf this year, with the easiest schedule in the league, take away another starter and it is not hard to drop that win percentage down considerably.

Iron Mantis wrote:It was a very good game. To be fair, if injuries to role players are a measuring stick, then when the Knicks get Azibuke and Eddy Curry back, they will be invincible, right?

Losing any game sucks, period. Winning any game is good, period. Losing to the team that your star player is eagerly pining to play for, though, will certainly leave an extra bad taste in your mouth.

Last I checked the Knicks have not even expected Curry to be with the team for the last couple of years, and Azibuike is a salary filler that was traded while injured with a career threatening injury, neither of those match up for a guy who has been a starter for the last 7 years and a guy who has played 18 mpg for the last couple of years.

The fact that Knicks fans try to minimize that is funny, if that is what it takes to make you guys feel better about your team, then so be it. It is just sad when a group of fans such as most Knicks fans in this thread overreact this much to a regular season game that they were favored to win, it just shows that even the people who watch them nightly do not believe they are very good, and they must celebrate a win against a team that is struggling.

Knowing the knicks created this team over the summer (literally) while Denver is consider to be a vet team with playoff experience.... So does it really matter how bad/good we played with or without Turiaf. The 1st 2-3 weeks, was about building building chemistry and getting use to each other. Luckily for us we played the MOST road GMS and back to back sets, which means we barely had time to practice. Now the knicks are rolling and we have to prove our self starting with the Nuggets.

Anyways the point is, it was a good gm not matter the circumstances so cut the excuses out and lets move on. Bos fans has tons of injury and they still manage to win gms.

You knick fans are acting like you beat us in a 7 game series...Less than a month ago the Nuggets beat the Knicks by 8 at home and about 3 knick fans commented in the thread. Now we got the whole lot of em trolling for Melo.

You'd think they'd learn after talking ALL year about getting Lebron and then it didn't happen...

Actually you guys won that game back on November 16th by 2 points not 8(118-120). Not that it makes a big deal, but just saying....
