I would like to tip my hat to myself for making myself watch that farce of a 2nd half tonight, not many can do what I do.

I think we all want to pretend this game didn't happen. I can't leave Rebel hangin out to dry without posting something. Can't wait to see what pops up on the melo thread now with another loss. I love GK and all but I can't admire his 1,000 wins without wondering how the hell he doesn't have 1500 with games like this.

You would think that every player in the league would want to play for Denver. Sign in Denver you only have to play 3 quarters but get paid to play 4.

Hell if they are really smart they can just get and stay really stoned then not try in practice, and the Nuggets will hand them a multi-year guaranteed contract, seats on the floor, get to half ass it at shoot around, and no stress.

I hate our reputation as the team that would be so much better with discipline. Like how many times have I heard, put the spurs brains in the nuggets bodies and you win multiple rings. I think it pisses me off because it may be true...

Maybe hell, the Nuggets quite possibly have the most talented team in the league, and have for years, problem is that most of them are knuckleheads/injury prone, which is how the Nuggets were able to assemble all the talent. Much like the JailBlazers were when Warkentien ran the team, and the Knicks will be if they hand him the reins.

Skip the last 5 minutes of the 3rd while you are at it, that's about the point where they gave up this time.

Does anyone else remember when Billups first got here the 2nd time around how well he took care of the ball. In the run that landed the Nuggets in the WCF, he rarely turned the ball over and now he turns it over a lot. 7 assists and 6 turnovers isn't the play of an all-star caliber veteran pg. It isn't all Billups either, there is no excuse for a team full of veterans like this team has to lose the turnover battle as often as they do.

This whole team has played sloppy this year, while they seem to put in effort none of the really seem to be or stay focused on actually playing the game. Billups is no different, which is sad because he is supposed to be the leader and the one that helps keep the guys on the same page.

Definately. I think a change is in order. George doesn't really adapt to different situations as well as some other coaches. Maybe time for a coaching change in addition to Melo?

Billups was in the zone after the DET trade cause he had to prove it and plus guys were so excited about the success they all bought in that time.

FO sucked that summer done nothing other than bringing in AA + Karl had cancer = we rode on the bad luck. Lebron running to Wade was just enough to stir up Melo.

All these turmoils factoring in onto the court. Not saying impossible but hard to have good focus in when bunch different personnel is constantly thinking what is going to happen to them......
