what the ****?

fact: the most damage done by a scooter was the destruction of a pineapple fruit stand.

Only because they caught Delonte with his bag of weapons before he got to his premeditated destination.

I guess he was on a 3 wheeler

On September 17, 2009 West was pulled over for a traffic violation while riding a 3-wheeled motorcycle. During this stop it was found that West had a 9mm Beretta pistol, .357 Magnum and a Remington 870 in a guitar case. He was arrested and had a court appearance on November 20. His trial was scheduled to be heard on February 18, 2010, but was postponed until July 21, 2010. West pleaded guilty to the traffic and weapons charges and was sentenced to electronic monitoring, unsupervised probation, and 40 hours of community service as well as psychological counseling.

Yeah, we (Chicago) are almost certain to pursue JR hard. We have limited options. Acquiring a two-guard via trade would require us to deplete some of our assets (Taj Gibson, Asik, etc). Currently our strength is depth. If the new CBA still has the MLE, I'd imagine we'll pursue JR hard. He'll have an opportunity to be the starting 2-guard on a perennial contender in a gigantic market. It could transform his career.

However some people can't handle the bright lights of the big city (ask Carlos Boozer). Hopefully JR can handle it or it could be a complete disaster. Every little thing is scrutinized here (body language, comments, shots, etc). It's real easy to get run out of town......but if you withstand it and succeed, you become a hero.

^^^ I will hate to see him go when/if he leaves, but he needs to find a home where he can get a chance to start/play 30 minutes per game because he isn't going to get the opportunity to do it with the Nuggets.

Assuming the new CBA has the MLE.....Smith would be my #1 target as a Bulls fan as well.

Chicago could offer him a starting SG spot that could range anywhere from 18-30 minutes of playing time a night.....depending on how he plays on both sides of the ball.. The better he plays, the more time he can get.

He can walk right in and take Bogans 18 mpg as the starting SG. The better he does on defense, the less we need Brewer at SG. The better he plays on offense (especially from deep), the less we need Korver at SG. But Bogans, Brewer, and Korver could all be available if JR does not buy in.

I can picture him at 27-28 mpg right now...with Brewer getting the rest of the back-up SG minutes (20-21)....and Korver getting just back-up SF minutes (12-14 with Deng having to play less).

Bogans rocks a suit and a bunch of DNP-CD's....but is always there to step back in as a starter if need be.

"If" Smith plays to his potential....and "if" he buys in....he could easily be the starting SG on a farily young championship team. Three June's from now...he could be playing for his 2nd NBA ring as the starting SG and one of the "closers" on the Bulls.

What a way to turn a career around.

I think most of us have already accepted that Jr is gone, and don't blame him for leaving.
