Will Faried start at PF?

Post#1 » by Kirsten19 » Wed Dec 14, 2011 3:17 am

I think Mozgov and Faried will start at the C and PF

Faried is hyped as the new Denis Rodman, any comment on him? Will he start?

Most likely Nene since he just re-signed at the 4 with Mozgov at the 5.

i believe karl's already been quoted as saying faried won't get many minutes.

hopefully that changes as he sees the guys tenacity/defense/athleticism...etc.

frontcourt starters sound like they'll be Mozgov & Nene.

the Rookies need to be in the rotation this year. Melo is gone. KMart is gone... short season... see where you are at... if things don't work out we'll have a nice pick in June

I'd like to see Faried as the first or second big man off the bench.

He seems like the type of player that Karl tends to fall in love with. Not a whole lot of skill, but he's an energetic hustle player, great defender, great rebounder, and he's got a great work ethic. I'm excited to see what this kid can do.

Rotation looks like:

Mozgov - 20, Anderson - 20, Kosta - 8
Nene - 30, Harrington - 18
Gallinari - 32, Brewer - 16
Afflalo - 32, Rudy - 16
Lawson - 28, Miller - 20

Faried on bench

Thats some good young talent there. Playoffs aren't out of the question.

Especially, this year with the west looking wide open. Dallas and LA are giving away talent to chase big names.

If the nuggets bring back Afflalo, they'll have a lot of depth and some good defenders. They should be tough.

Hopefully Faried, Mozgov, Koufos, Andersen, Nene, and Harrington are all going to have to earn their minutes this season, let the best men play.

Neither of Mosgov nor Anderson are all that good. Nene as a PF....is worth LESS than Nene as a C. Really...at PF is he much above D West or Millsap? I'd expect a lot of guys sliding a spot...Gallo playing some PF, Nene splitting between PF + C, Afflalo getting some SF time and Faried playing 15 min per.

Look at that lineup......no real 20 ppg + guy, no dominant rebounding, decent but spotty D,depending on matchups.
CENSORED... No comment.
