A very poor man's JR Smith.

Extremely streaky, unreliable jumpshot, scared of getting contact and going for layups. Don't know what's annoyed me more this season... him missing open 3s because instead of setting his feet he decides to fade, or him passing up open layups and then kicking the ball out of bounds.

I guess he does play for the team but I don't think we're going very far with him as a rotation player.

I think Rudy is doing what Denver management expected him to do. Honestly, I don't think he will be around after this season, he has a nice Real Madrid contract waiting for him.

He will shoot nicely for one game, then terribly for 4 games. He does make nice plays/passes, but soon makes you forget with a turnover or another launched three. He does provide energy, hustle, gets steals, gets the crowd fired up, but he's not consistent enough to warrant 30+ minutes every night.

The fact that we got Brewer as well makes the Rudy trade better, and the two of them have been beneficial to the team.

When Wilson returns, I can't see Coach Karl reducing Rudy's minutes, the guy just loves him. Brewer is the odd man out here. UNLESS, Brewer fills in real nicely for Gallo over the next 3-4 weeks as a starter and some how convinces Karl into giving him regular minutes, then Rudy may miss out.

When the season began, he really impressed me with his passing and playmaking ability. His shooting (his supposed strength) has been disappointing at best, and it seems like everyone knows he's looking to pass when he takes it to the rim which has led to a lot of turnovers. Considering we gave up peanuts to get him, I think he's been a solid pickup. Hopefully his shooting improves with the healing of his achilles.

Also, he's ugly

Needs to be waived.

Guy sucks at the game of basketball.

Won't be in the league after this year.

Over his last 7 games, Rudy is a shocking:

23/61 FGs - 37%
7/33 3PT FGs - 21%
Has 11 assists with just 4 steals, but 10 turnovers
8.7 ppg in 26.1 mpg

He shoots almost 5 threes per game!!! Why is George Karl allowing this to happen??? He is obviously not a good defender either as he gambles too much. 11 assists with 10 turnovers, is just dismal.

I cant wait to see what Brewer can do with starter minutes now that Gallo is injured. Hopefully well enough to show George Karl that Rudy should not be playing 25 mpg!

Why is that so shocking, his turnovers are a little high, and his outside shooting a little worse but he averaged awful close to those numbers for the entire season last year.

Um, because these numbers are pretty bad. I wouldn't say that a SG playing over 26 mpg, that shoots 21% from three, and has a 1.1 assist-to-turnover-ratio (for a 'playmaker') is good for the team.
