oj mayo?????

we could use a guy like mayo who can create his own shot. we would probably have to move afflalo but some of the offers that other teams are offering leave me wondering that maybe we can trade some other pieces to grab him. but for the moment lets say we move afflalo. right off the bat we lose defense(not as much as you think), but we get a guy that can score with the best of them. now the defenses fixes itself once we get chandler back and the other problem is that mayo is on the last year of his contract. What do you guys think? mayo would be pretty good out here in denver. maybe we could even do a 3 way trade that sends miller to another team and those assets go to memphis for mayo.

while agree mayo would not be a bad pickup, but he is not worth Afflalo, despite the crap Afflalo catches Mayo puts up pretty much the same numbers and is not the defender afflalo is.

another thing to look at, is despite the hype on the trade board Mayo was worth a back up PF and a highly protected 1st last year at the trade deadline, he has not really done much to up his value since that point.

this year the rumor was a worse sg then Afflalo and either a highly protected pick or a backup PG.

Notice a trend here?

Add to that and despite Memphis fans protests, the Grizzlies have never shown a big willingness to pay the luxury tax, and Mayo's restricted free agency next year and I don't see his value going up.
