With Mozgov and Koufos battling injuries, Nene still trying to work his way back into game shape... I think it's unlikely Denver deals Birdman now unless they get a player back. He does tend to play better as the season progresses, after all.

There's just no reason to do so. Can't really count on either Mozgov or Nene playing for an extended period of time without getting hurt.

I gotta believe they want to move him for a pick... any 1st rounder to any team that can take on salary and not have to take anything back or a player in the last year of his contract... free up more cap room... amnesty Al's contract next year and that helps do whatever you want for signing Wilson or space for a Sign and Trade. I don't believe it's about play for Bird right now...its about his salary and Nuggs have better options... (personally Bird = Nene) can't we just trade Nene??? or slightly exaggeration, but not too much....

I agree with this. Mozzy has been up & down all year either with injuries or foul trouble. Don't get me wrong, I really like Mozgov and Koufos and love the potential in our front court (especially with the emergence of Faried) but with such a short season, I dont see us moving him unless we get a great value pick in return.
