Javale McGee?

Post#1 » by Yilun » Tue Mar 20, 2012 3:23 am

Does someone want to remind George Karl that McGee averaged 12 points, 9 rebounds and 2.5 blocks on an awful Washington team?

I hate to see Denver trade away Nene just to let 12/9/2.5 be buried on the bench behind Koufos and Mosgov.

hey bench warmer, don't need to make this thread any more negative by trolling =)

it doesn't look like McGee is going to get into the first game at all.

nobody here is trolling except you. if you have a question, go to the game thread. i think i speak for most when i say player fans have the least credibility.

this will probably get locked anyways.

I'm from the bay area, so I couldn't be further removed from McGee and Denver. But I actually enjoy watching the Nuggets because I love their style of play and have been a fan for awhile. I'm hoping this is just an anomaly. Perhaps Karl wants McGee to get in a few practices first before working into the rotation.

But I would be sorely disappointed if Nene was traded away for a bench warmer. Juss' saying.

McGee should be playing otherwise trading Nene for a young center who Masai said he intended to build with our other cores is pointless.

The guy put up average numbers on a crappy team. I'm pretty sure the guys playing in front of him could have put up the same or better numbers in that situation. It's not like Karl is letting an All Star sit. It's JaVale **** McGee.

The kid can use a reality check.

Damn some of you guys have been around long enough to know, Karl is not going to throw someone out there his 1st game in a Nuggets uniform, McGee needs a practice or two, and spend a couple of games watching from the bench.

No. I am a long-time Wizard fan and one of the minority who felt McGee was one of the most productive Wizards. He is a tremendous shot blocker and a very good rebounder. McGee makes a lot of mistakes, but at the end of the game you will find he makes a high percentage of FG shots.

He is a bad FT shooter and he doesn't move well laterally. His pick and roll defense was beyond bad in DC, but some of that is on his guards. (John Wall is a terrible defender)

McGee won his first game as a Nugget. Check my signature and you will know what I expect.

Nene played great for the Wizards, but I am just hoping he can stay healthy or else that trade will really come back to bite the Wizards.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Been a fan of this guy. This guy has the potential to be one of the most beast centers in the league. Athleticism, talent, potential, insane physique/body, he has it all. Just need proper coaching and work ethic and keep his knuckleheadness in check. Think George Karl can develop him well.

Look at his beast game today, his first game with the Nuggets, with the game winner. This guy is probably one of the most athletic centers to come to this league in the last decade.
