Let's beat Minnesota and then lose to Chicago the next night.

Sounds good?

I wonder if Afflalo faces a 1 game suspension for his Flagrant 2 Foul on Gordon Haward from yesterday?

If so, I say start Brewer in his place alongside Ty, Chandler, Faried and McGee = Great energy/defense and length.

The only way to beat Minnesota is to slow down Kevin Love, in which case, Faried is not ideal for. I would put Chandler/McGee on Love and force him to shoot contested outside jumpshots, but not give him space for threes.

^ probably not. he doesn't have a history of this sort of behavior. i'd be surprised if he did get suspended.

mcgee has been terrific so far and i'm in favor of him starting, as long as he keeps it up. i really like how they brought him in, saying that whatever goofy stunts he's pulled up until now are void. he better capitalize on it.

he's a high risk, high reward type so if he can develop a sense of maturity, i think he could become a higher echelon center of this league.

AAA facing 1 game suspension.

I agree on McGee. We all do crazy stuff at young age. I see him being different in his 2 games with his new team & hope to see him improve

If Afflalo is suspended, GK needs to play guys who want to play defense, run and play to win:

C - McGee - 32, Mozzy - 16
PF - Faried - 28, Harrington - 20
SF - Chandler - 34, Hamilton - 14
SG - Brewer - 34, Miller - 14
PG - Ty - 38, Miller - 10

I have a problem with Miller at SG. Other than that this lineup looks good.

i'd rather see this.

let's blow it up. Keep Gallo, Faried and, Mcgee. Make everyone else available this draft.

+1. I can't believe we can't beat a decimated T'Wolves team.

So you want to blow it up but keep the only guys with decent value? That is not blowing it up, blowing it up is trading anybody and everybody you can for picks.

Well you have to build around something.

And you believe any of those 3 are good enough to build around? Personally if you are going to blow it up you dump all talent for picks, take bad contracts for more picks and assets, and start all over.

Now if the attitude is that this team needs blown up then you have to start over as you have nobody healthy or good enough to actually build around. Now you can continue to rebuild and exchange some pieces, but then you cannot expect to take huge steps, only small steps. AT this point this team is a below 500 team and has been since the 1st 20 games, they are extremely young, and it will take some time for them to grow. To expect them to be anything more then the TWolves or jazz is out of line considering the holes on the roster and the injury problems.

If we blow it up, the only player I'd keep is Faried.

just because you're blowing a team up/rebuilding, doesn't mean you can't keep anyone that seems to be a longterm fit. Harrington and Andersen should be moved, if possible. Wouldn't be shocked to see Afflalo, Chandler and McGee all moved as well. Ty, Gallo, Faried, Hamilton are the young core I'd build around. But all would be available for the right price, I imagine.
